DictoKey generates an anonymous device ID solely for the purpose of counting daily dictation usage (to enforce the free tier limit of 30 dictations/day). This ID:

All communications between DictoKey and our servers are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Audio data exists only transiently during processing and is never written to persistent storage.
